Just picked up an ati 9600 pro 128 mgs the other day and ofcourse have been overclocking it ever since. I managed to get the core running at 500 mhz from 400 mhz!!!!!!! 25% increase in power. I've left the memory pretty much the same only overclocking by 20 mhz until i can get some ram sinks. But for all those people who thought their 9500 pro's were better than the 9600 pro i chalange them to take on an overclocked one like mine:thumb:

I saw a review, 9500 Pro vs 9600 Pro overclocked as high as they could get it.

Ran neck and neck in 3dmark01.

I gave my card a 100mhz core increase and 50mhz memory increase which is decent. It is on air cooling so it gets pretty damn hot, even though it does have arctic silver on the GPU and DDR chips. If it had better cooling it could go higher (record is 618mhz core 1000mhz+ memory).

Congrats on the new card and the OC. Thats good for the core. I'm not sure that you'll need any HS's on the mem. These cards really don't get very hot. What'll determin how far you can go with the mem. is what chips you got. The early models were gettin -GC2A chips. Mine came with -GC33. Not complaining though. Still a heck of a card for the money. :D
BTW Did you get Rage3D to work?
