I wouldn't say that man, first off not everybody can choose to get new hardware whenever they want. 2) this is tweak town, we take things to the max with what we have. I have a geforce2 in one of my comps that i like to try new things to amazingly its not dead after multiple BIOS flashes, anyway sorry i can't help with the problem at hand, i recomend you google it.

Don't drill holes into any PCB.

To add a GPU cooler onto a card that does not have any mounting holes that you find on most cards. You can use Thermal Epoxy to glue a heatsink fan to it. Use a VERY thin coat and you will have a new cooler and be ready to go.

    Heatsink Mod

That there heatsink let him get 50mhz extra on the core without doing any voltage modifications. I'll say it does a pretty good job.

Then again its a 9700. The GF2 MX400 doesn't have a fan because it simply doesn't generate enough heat to need one.

I don't agree with that... My GF2 MX400 is damn hot to touch, to hot to leave ur finger on for more than a few secs.
I went for a bit more of a look see after i posted this thread and i found this
i think that, that would be a better option for mee coz putting a fan on a GF2 i s a bit excessive so i dunno:confused:

    Thanx
