Well, With the increasing demand on Video Cards in gaming performence these days, its getting more and more importent to buy the RIGHT video card for the job.

With the up coming release of HL 2, MANY ppl are looking to get a card that can actually run the thing. This is where the Radeon 9800 XT comes in. The 9800 already leads the pack in performence, and now the release o fa better card will mean 1 of 2 things. A) The Pro will be more affordable allowing more to have it. B) The XT will mean another step in nocking up our benchmarks another notch. BAM!

Now, The point of this poll is to see who is going to buy what? Will You:
    ~AlthonXP T-Bred 2,600 @ 2305mhz~
    ~Epox 8RDA+~
    ~Hercules Radeon 9800XT 256mb~
    ~512 Corsair P3200 @ 6,2,2,2.0~
    ~WD1200JB HDD~
    ~Antec 1080 Plus~

You don't know the XT will reach any new scores. It is basically an overclocked 9800 Pro. I'm not buying it.

Best thing is to wait it out and see if they get things sorted out by the NV40/45 launch.

I am going for ati as my next card. I been using nvidia most my computer life and now its time to try something new. I am either going with the 9800 xt or a 9800 pro. (most likely a 9800 pro due to price drops)

I did not vote but I'll most likely get me a Hercules 9800 non pro for my next card and oc it to pro speeds. I most likely toss it into my Amd 2600+ if I can't get the dough for a new P4C computer. Not sure yet.. As usual.. lol

Besides, girlfriends tend to dislike when to mutch $$$ goes into computers..

Cataclysm: Hercules 3D Prophet 9800 XT 256MB for me, my first ATI fuelled card for four years. My last ATI card was a Rage Fury Maxx (Brand new still in its box).
