Thread: Help required: 9600XT,FX5700,FX5900

    Humm i currently got a Radeon 9500 softmoded to a 9700 running on a Amd Athlon Xp2800+ 2X 512MB DDR 3200 with this system i was able to play the DoomIII, Far Cry and Half-life2 betas at good fps, 90 in hl2 i had a score of 36034 on Aquamark3

    and i got 3 options i dont know which to choose thats why i need your guys help :)

    1- GeXcube Radeon 9600XT 256MB =177
    2-Nvidia FX5900 256MB = 219
    3- Keep my crappy 0'9500

    I would keep your card. 9600 would be a step backwards. 5900 would be a small jump. :lips:

    If you want more power you are going to need to look at the Radeon 9800 line or the Nvidia 5900 line.

    Anything else wouldn't be enough of a jump to justify the money.

    9600 would be a step backwards as was said.

    I've already replied elsewhere about ya R9500 but I'll put the answer here as well. :hammer:
