    Hello all,

My voodoo 5 card and my P3V4X is only running at 2x AGP. I have the lasted
Bios for my m-board, 1006 beta. And the Video card has the Bios that the
card came with. I want to upgrade the bios on the video card as well. I am
running Windows 2000 and drivers for the Voodoo 5 are hard to come by. I
also have the lastest Via m-board drivers too.

This card should be running at 4x, can anyone help with this?

And can someone direct me to the lastest Bios for the Voodoo 5 card?

    Thanks,
    Mark

Actually there are a lot of 3rd party drivers for the Voodoo Series of cards....and they offer a decent performance increase over the original drivers.

    I have a V3 and I am using the AMIGAMERLIN 2.1 driver set for Voodoo 3/4/5 for WinXP/2000 :)

You can get all the 3rd party drivers from http://www.voodoofiles.com/type.asp?cat_id=1

And yeah, the Voodoo 5 was 1X/2X/4X AGP :p

I have the current drivers. They are the 3rd party drivers. I just want to flash the BIOS on the video card and fix the 2x to 4x problem. My M-Board is set to run at 4x and when I run Sandra, it's only showing up as 2x?

    I don't know.
If you can provide any information.
    Thanks,

I am not sure, I'll have to pull the card to see. Am I correct? I know it's a Voodoo 5500. So there's a model # as well? The BIOS verison is old, 106.00

    Thanks,
    Mark
