I hope someone can help me. I have recently purchased an Abit NF7-s motherboard and along with that I bought a Sapphire Radeon 9600 PRO video card. My problem comes when i get into the stupid SmartGart settings to bring my AGP speed up to 8x !! The settings won't stick. I've changed them in the BIOS and whenever I change them in the settings (SmartGart) it always goes back to OFF. someone help please. I want to experience 8x agp

p.s. Urban Terror (quake3) and Unreal Tourney 2004 demo keep crashing on me...anyone know why ?

    - One thread on the same topic is enough.
    - I'm not sure why you're 8x AGP setting keeps resetting itself, but you're not going to see much improvement going from 4x to 8x, so I wouldn't get too worried. However, someone here should be able to help.
    - For the demo problem, what are the rest of your computer specs / driver versions? When you built the new PC did you do a fresh install of Windows? Have things worked properly since?
