    hey guys
new to this site-was just wondering if anyone could help me out. My system is:

    AMD Athlon 2200+
    512 MB
    60 GB HDD
    Geforce 4 Ti 4200 8x

Basically, I got the system made up, and when I got it, it was mint as. After some problems, I had to re-install windows, and everything went fine, until I went to play games again on my comp. Some games will only open up the start menu (if that), and then just reduce down to the taskbar, and if opened up are just a blank screen for a few seconds before reducing again.
I thought I should try re-installing my graphics card, and so uninstalled it, and put the disc in, but the Triplex box comes up with the menu side cut off, and the top of the box says something like "no compatible hardware found on this system"-tried the disc on my mates comp, same graphics card-no worries at all.
Did a search through the disc, and tried to install things thatta way, but no real luck. Direct X 8.1 is on the disc, and it aint wanting to install-how important is it???
Any help would be amazing. Catch u's later.

Download the latest Detonator drivers from nVidia. Remove old video drivers. Install new ones.
