...According to your other post, you already purchased a 9600se.
I would go with the 9600xt.

Why would ya really want to buy that only to stick it in that Compaq of your's?
Even though that R9600SE is a newted card ya'll still be goin' backwards again with that R9200. Why not just build a proper PC instead of tryin' to get that Compaq to run better? :?:

If you got more than, let's say, $450 U.S. (even less if you stick with your new video card), go make yet another new topic in "What Should I Buy?"

hmmm.... Four different threads regarding the same topic. Wait until Beefy hears about this. :D :flames:

If you can't build one...then you can ask tweaktown for help! Its better then buying a manufactuer prebuild computer. Its your hard earn money, atleast make something out of it. :geek:

We can help you find hardware, and actual construction is much easier than you would think, even if it's your first time.

But definetely don't ever buy a prebuilt desktop PC. Especially not something made by Compaq/HP. :grr:

Ditto on what was said. WE can help you with any questions you have here, whether it be buying, building, tweaking, etc. Building isnt that difficult, its quite simple once you open up your PC and take a good look. Read these forums, do a google search, and ask questions, all the info is right on the net. If you still cant find answers, ask us! We can help. : peace2: Mista K6
