Just wondering----- I am thinking about purchasing a Radeon 9600 card. Can the 9600SE be modded to an XT? or a PRO? Anyways---what is the difference between the 9600 cards and which is best for overclock/modding?

    9600 XT > 9600 Pro > 9600 > 9600SE
Don't get the SE, ever. If you can get a 9600 for under $100, it's a gerat budget card. Will play all current games at decent-high settings. Got one myslef.

The XT is the best of the 9600s, but I think that your money is better spent on a 9700 Pro or 9800 Pro if you're going to go that expensive.

Not sure which is best for overclocking and such.

The R9600SE only uses a 64-bit memory interface where as the other R9600 versions use a 128-bit memory interface so leave to SE alone.
