The best oen out fo the Xt's is the X800 XT Platinum Edition, right? Which opne si better the pro or that, because I can buy a pro for $475.00 and the XT Platinum edition for $459.51. Why is the XT cheaper?

XT cards are usually about $100 more than pro cards from what I have seen, the X800 was going to be really expensive I thought---like $700, but maybe I confused it with the Nvidia 6800.

Guideline: Radeon X800 Pro - $399 USD or less / Radeon X800 XT - $499 USD or less

Supply and demand: If there are more buyers than cards, the retailers push the prices up. As more product becomes available the prices will stabilise and then eventually drop.
