    ok heres the situation:
    When ever i ply Battlefield vietnam/1942/Desert combat and i either exit the game or go into a server after exitin frm a server i get VPU recover come up. meanin i av to restart my computer. Every time i ply tis happens. I av the latest ATI catalyst driver. PLS I NEED SERIOS HLP!!! whoever hlps me will get a very big kiss :D
    System spec:
    Make: Sony Vaio
    CPU: 2.8GHz Pentium 4
    Memory: 512Mb HighSpeed DRAM
    120gb hard disk space

    let me see if I can decipher that...

    When you go into a game and then quit it after playing it for a while... it crashes and gives you the crash recovery?

    There are still quite a few problems with the bfv engine and interface. You may have one of those errors. This will probably be fixed in the next patch.


    Otherwise, you may need to go into your video card setup and turn down your anti-aliasing bfv doesn't like it too much.

    but my friend has plyed vietnam wiv the same graphics card and the same spec of a comp and it dont happen to him. and its not jus vietnam its battlefield 1942 wiv desert comabat aswell

    have you overclocked the graphics card?
    i think the vpu recovery can be caused by overclocking too far. im not sure tho because i dont have an ATi card

    no i havent overclocked it all i havent done any thing with it
