In Neweggs description it is advertised as having the Pro chipset, but it doesn't say pro in the name and says 128-bit in the name. It could just be a mistake as it retains all of the qualities of a 9800 SE (even the price looks SEish). I still see no evidence of Sapphire calling it a Pro.

Here's a couple pictures of the box. I would say Sapphire IS marketing it as a 9800 Pro.

The "128 bit edition," huh... How dumb....

Oh well. As long as you don't get something that says it's 128-bit, I wouldn't wory about it.

the 9800 pro 128 bit edition was probably misinterpreted by my ancestors the japanese........notice it's a sticker on the box...........they meant meg.........regardless, the box calls it a pro.........it's probably the oem w/ a black pcb..........what's the price? also, you can get a hercules for around 195

Except that it say 128MB DDR Memory, followed by 128 bit edition right underneath on the same box....

Plus, the Newegg card that was linked to (which you obviously haven't looked at) says it's a a 128 bit pro.

I know you weren't, I was just stating for the record. And if you're talking about sapphire being dumb, then yes.
