Default Overclocking SLI

I am just wondering how overclocking would be with SLI. Will you have to have both cards at the same speed when overclocking to owrk properly? How does this all work?

Since the SLI works only with 2 identical or almost identical cards, I think they'd have to be the same speed. But yeah, I wonder if overclocking utilities will overclock just one or both at the same time?

My guess would be both at the same time but you never know.

Actually no, they don't have to be the same speed since the new SLI setup throttles between the two cards in a controlled way. In theory, you could run a GT/Ultra combo and be fine, the ultra would simply pull more of a load.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

If the manufactures allow this is another story.
