Default error messege when lighting struck close by...

so, it was raining hard, and when a lighting struck close by, and i had my computer on at that time, a message popped up saying my geforce 6800gt had to lower its voltage so it wont get damaged or something. dumb me, i really didnt read the messege thoughly, but it said something about it had to lower the voltage of my geforce, so i got scared and turned off everything for about good 20 mins after when the storm went away. my concern is do i have to set the voltage back to normal manually or will it set it back by itself? i just want my system to have no problems and keep everything in check....

    thanks guys

I've not heard of that before, but it should be an internal setting. You can go into BIOS when you boot it up and make sure the AGP voltage is set to the proper level and then see what happens from there.
