Hey zach just saying wassup? I think the price of the 7800gs is not worth how close the 6800gs is in performance. The cine fx 4.0, heh i wouldent worry about it.

@ AsianBatman .....They are recent releases

@ Zach ...... check around, there are a couple of models of 7800GS, I saw one reviewed at clocks of 470/1300. Also according to the Guru3D (the home of Unwinder and RivaTuner) review of the 7800GS there are no unlockable pipelines in the 7800's

The 7800GS is significantly better than the 6800GS and will probably be the last AGP offering from nVidia. Whether or not the performance improvement is worth the price increase is up to you. Your CPU will limit the 7800GS in some games, while the 6800GS is a near-perfect match for it.

6800GS is a kick ass card. I got 2 of them in SLI and they run perfect! I had 2 7800GTX cards in this system and they were extremely bottlenecked. These cards are definitely not and I am extremely happy! And the AGP version is almost a guarranty to unlock.

eVGA has a lifetime warrenty too, in fact its even better than BFG's. I used to be a BFG fan. Now with eVGA since I can overclock, replace the stock heatsink, and do anything to the card as long as I dont physicaly damage it, the warrenty is still valid.

Absolutely right, fully guaranteed against anything besides physical damage. EVGA has the best warranty available today.
