    Pros: very good card. fast and responsive a big upgrade from my old 9800 pro. play everquest 2 alot and now have shadows! great card overclocked with the provided software and now runs as fast as a x850xt p...
    e...blows the pixels off of the 6800! buy this card!

    Cons: takes up two slots and cant run in crossfire but that isnt a big deal this card still screams!... More

    Pros: Everything, I mean it runs a little hot but not as hot as the last guy said. Its a GREAT card for what you pay for it. I had this card sence it came out and i have had no problem with it. I run BF2 with every setting high and 2x AA and it runs WITHOUT lag. i mean WOW! this card is a bag for your buck!

    Cons: I have yet to see one Con of this product!

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    7600gt 12 pipes

    3dmark05 = 6,447

    http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=1887061 my comp is scored on the left,7600gt is on the right....not bad i must admit.o my10k,lol thks!naw the 7600gt is really good deal for the money i think now.

    7600gt on sale

    Pros: Just to clear something up for the people who have been told wrong about the memory bandwidth. It does indeed matter. Compare the x1600xt to the 6800gs. The 6800gs has the same amount of pipelines yet lower clock speeds but still demolishes the x1600xt. Now why is that? Because the 6800gs has 256 bit while the x1600xt has only 128 bit. Good clock speeds but don't help with 128 bit interface.

    Cons: 128-bit and only 12 pixel pipelines. Only has 5 vertex shaders while the 7900gt has 8. It only makes 48 dba (fan noise). 3d mark 06 scores: 7600gt: (3090) 7900gt: (4109) x1900xtx: (5235) 7900gtx: (5192) Overclock the 7900gt with an after market cooler and you can easily match the 7900gtx.

    Other Thoughts: For a bit more you can save lots of money and get a better deal. Look: 24 pixel pipelines vrs. 12. That's the huge difference between these two. Everyone knows even 4 pipelines is a dramatic increase. 8 more will drop the hammer on this card. The 7900gt treads shortly behind the x1900xtx and sometimes even beats it at certain resolutions.

    In response to the 6800gs debate.

    Pros: I have this card, sure it's is awesome for the money - So in respose to "I call it as I see it", yes this card is just a tad faster in benchmarks than the 6800gs -- at stock, which is very important since most gamers overclock. Since the 7600gt barely overclocks (as you know already I'm sure), then the 6800GS which can overclock severely in some cases will definitely beat out this card. So, call it a truce, these cards are about even - 7600gt wins at stock, but at max clocks the 6800 gs will win especially if it a specialty card like the special editions for EVGA. Just enjoy the fact that you can get such an awesome card for the money these days, 6 series of 7 series.

    Cons: None

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

    7300gt(,4 pipes mhmm?)

    3dmark05 = 3,636
    Pros: Well i must say this card is just remarkable and for the money is your best buy for a BFG product. I am getting 85+ FPS in WoW and much higher in other games. All in All i would reccomend this card to anyone looking for a huge upgrade for a low buck. Once again newegg has done it again.

    Pros:This card is great I'm running one currently and I tried CS:source it didnt drop below 120FPS XP 3700+ Asus SLI premium mb 7600gt I have not even started overclocking yet, runs cool for how hard it is being pushed

    Pros: tests twice as fast 6600gt in almost everything

    Cons: a bit more expensive for the brand name.

    i dont know how true these reviews are exagerrated....i mean it is 4 pipes.im going to be quiet and remain nuetral...1\1

    for under $200 certain cards i listed own

    ppl from newegg quotes btw,not mine but i agree with every review i highlighted.4 cards pointed out to u all for 200 ch33s3burGErS! =0 wo0t

    sounds like bf2 cards to me guys and if u can run bf2 u can run anything...make sure u have minumum 1.8ghz processor,1 gig of ram,7,200 rpm 8mb cache hardrive,name brand 350-400 + true wattage powersupply(antec\ocz\thermaltake,etc,comparable)a nd prefered matching 2 gigs of ram for higher resolutions these cards can and will produce :p i cant belive the x850xt is that cheap.im buying 1 tonight i think to build my first liquid cooled overclocked to death box.

    Bleh... I wouldn't buy an ATI Xxxx cards if I could avoid it. For pure performance in certain games, they're great, but the lack of pixel shader 3.0 is becoming more and more significant, and most the cards don't offer better performance than their nVidia counterparts.

    Regardless, I'd have to recommend you throw all that out the window and look at the 7600GT. It destroys those cards (and similar ones) and does it at a lower price point. I can't see ATI coming up with a better card at the same price point anytime soon.

    well said.hmmm 7600gt ehh :l hmmm keep in mind tho ,it is still only 12 pipes vs 16 pipes.12 pipe card genrally as a rule get beaten by there 16 pipe brothers. its really physically hard match the lesser pieline cards(4vs6vs8cyl engines..), u can read ppls reviews,especially the guy with the 6800gs responding to the recently aquired 7600gt he recieved,was interesting.well the x850xt/16 pipes/ beats all 6800 series and crushes even 6800ultra let alone gs model.but 7600gt 12 pipes clocked hi,good 3dmark scores, 3.0 shader support(biggie for me)but ppl are saying close to almost equal performance of 6800gs,s....mhhhm,decesions.dam u yawg for messing up ma almost spending spree.keep in mind im building complete new second mess around pc(don,t know why?lol),hmmmm!what card now!?u can always tell a gamer when he buys the card first,roffle!

    hey that list is great, but the 7300 is supposed to be pants, from another reveiw i read. its probably worth spending extra to get a 6800 series or better.

    oh yeah, maybe im wrong about this, but on my 800gto2 i didnt notice much increase in power with 4 extra pipelines. i only got an extra 500 3dmark05 points. the 7600gt is supposed to blow away the 6800gs and gt, and overclock loads (we likes our overclocking, we does)

    hang on, i thought it was wrong.... ive just checked and the 7300 HAS ONLY 4 PIPELINES.

    the 7300 has only 4 pipes cause its "budget" (slightly cheaper than far better cards) my old fx5500 had 4 pipes and was able to play far cry comfortably with everything low-med, 800x600, so i guess the 7300 will perform slightly better.
