and i tried 3dmark06 i got 867 on cpu without ocing and with ocing i got 966.
Only one problem is i need a new heat sink the one they gave me its ok but when i was pushing it in a little peice of meatle broke and it has a small fan anyway im going to mod it and have two fans lol!!!
    excellent!,
keep it up and heres what i just orderd for my lil second overcloked beater p4 rig thats fits our amd socket 939,s as well =0 if your seriusly gonna make your own cpu fan setup i would strongly check temps in your bios for atleast 15min should be 45c idle or lower.also get a nice ultlity to check temps in windows..

products below will do u good for 2.9 ghz, memory allowing.and zach plz tell your dad u want a fan providing a minmum of 50cfm of air on whatever heatsink(h\s)u grab bro :p and u DO NOT HAVE TO INCREASE CPU VOLTAGE AT ALL.the amd 64 3700 san diegos need no voltage increases at all(good thing for heat)going for 2.8+ghz yes then lil cpu voltage bump would be ok..

orderd thursday night for ma p4
    this heatsink p4\k8 http://www.svc.com/xp-90-21.html $27<--grab 1
this fan on it :p air flow 24.6~78.7CFM!,plus looks killer for $10<--grab 1

my current heatsink\fan combo(it gets a shower once a year!
doing amazing on 3rd amd 64 chip(3000,3200,now3700) now 3 years later,i really love this swiftech heatsink being i can put any 80mm,90,92or120mm on it np(adapter needed for 120mm fan).this heatsink simply cant break its a solid 1\2 thick copper piece lapped mirror polished bottom with extruded alumimum pins for amazing heat removal.when it gets real dusty after a year or so i take it off and hold it 1inch away as i let my shower head blast it with hot water in between the fins and clean with rubbing alcohol and reapply some as5(artic silver5 )...

    my h\s $47http://www.svc.com/mcx--6400-v-28.html
my fan adapter $4(looks killer) http://www.svc.com/fa80120-green.html
    my fan $11 http://www.svc.com/antc-120grn-77.html

**********(optional but looks worth it)**********brand new liquid metal mecury liquid type overclocking compound $14 http://www.svc.com/coolab.html.

if not use atleast some sort of artic silver5 or comparable product(no cermaic compounds unless u wanna never remove your h\s again as its get cemented to your cpu chip) i use OCZ Ultra 5+ $6 http://www.svc.com/oczultra5.html works really good and big 3gram tube(good for ez 30+ applications)tho that
