Those are Graphics card, yes. In fact you just bought your self a quad SLI system.

I would sudgest to anyone looking for a nVidia card to find a 7800 series card, because There are some big problems with the 7900 series. I'm on my second 7900GT already, and it has been less that two weeks. This ons is even starting to artifact. GPU temps are not the issue they run anywhere from 40C to the occational 65-70C. Mine hardly hits 50, but that goes to show how fast nVidia pushed them out the door without proper testing. The board partners pushed up the clock speeds and made the problems worse.

There are early indications that even the GX2's(7900 and 7950) have some probems. I think nVidia need to take a hard look at what they have(or have not) done to make these products fail as much as they do.

BURTON88, I sure hope that "550 watt ultra xconnect" can put out allot of juice! You're going to need a good power supply for Quad-SLi.

I'm sorry to hear you guys are having difficulties with the 7900 series. I recently jumped ship do to the constant issues I was having with some Nvidia chipset motherboards. I don't really think that Nvidia is totally to blame. I just think that some individual products lack the quality control we expect. So all you can do is try something else.

quad sli isnt really that good yet - some games dont support it. that said, its still frikin fast.
maybe the fact that the 7900s are bad is why the 7800gtx 512s are still more expensive than the 7900gtxs (in the uk)
i got my bro a x1800xt other day its a seriously awesome card :)

Quad SLI is truely useless without an amazing CPU that pushes extreme MHz, 3.5GHz+ for AMD and I think only Conroe/Yonah/Merom will be able to handle it. THere are no drivers for it yet adn definitely no games supporting it. Nvidia is blindly throwing stuff out to counter ATI and they are just doing a horrible job. 7900 series cards are dying everywhere. As for gaming, my single X1800 XT was enough and the only reason I even went Crossfire is that I currently run a 21" CRT and can game @ 1600X1200 and I am hoping to have one of those lovely 24" widescreen LCD's by years end. One of those 7950's is good enough, 2 of them is just a giant waste, even for benchmark scores. There is nothing out yet that can feed enough info to them. Not a good buy burton88.

    @ Burton88

Have a read of this mate, Guru3D 7950 review , it will give you some info you appear to be lacking. There are no drivers to support quad SLi at present without modding (as you will see in the article) My advice to you is to return one of the cards you have purchased. As you can see by the benchmarks in the article one is more than sufficient for every day gaming at present.
