    LOL! considering its nearby...
    blehhh.

anyway, back on topic, you could try reinstalling directx, cause if the update involved this, it may have screwed up under the overclock. just an idea, and if im right, you may need to use a specialist tool to uninstall directx first.

If all else fails, do a complete fresh install of windows. Also, make sure you unplu the power supply when you pull the CMOS battery since the motherboard can draw power that way to maintain CMOS settings. But I would do a fresh install and see what happens. If that doesn't help, something is fubared. Try the card in another PC too. THat will tell you if it is injured.

Do these artifacts come around immediately after you start the game..or after a few hours?

Have you tried un-installing then re-installing the drivers?

Ok I borrowed my friends 6800 GT and I have the same problems as before. So idk i dont think we both would have dead cards XD. Anyways Im gonna try the fresh install then. I tried a sytem restore. idk its like brandnew lol I just did a fesh install last week. XD Is there a chance it could be the motherboard then? As for the artifacs they happen all the time from beginning to end.

If 2 cards and fresh installs are doing the same thing, then it is probably to mobo. Did you try your video card in your friends PC? Sounds like a tough problem to diagnose. Also try another PSU too just to be sure.

Ummm so maybe the over clocking of my CPU damaged the mobo then??? I was getting good temps and all that ****. It was allll good >.< No I didnt try my video card in his pc.
