    Exclamation Gtx 460 hawk sli

Recently, i got rid of my (1 month) old Gigabyte GTX 460 1Gb OC because i was unable to OC them beyond 825Mhz without loosing stability. So I got this New babes, the thing is, 825Mhz seems to be the limit again, they look cooler, and they run so too, but, the bottom line is I dont find my way beyond such an underwhelming OC, My configuration is as follows: Core i5 750 @ 3.2 , eVGA P55 FTW, Corsair H50 (Push/Pull), Corsair Dominator 1600Mhz, Corsair TX750W, MSI GTX 460 HAWK 1Gb SLI x2, Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm 500Gb sata, all in HAF 922

So, Im getting the feeling the problem is actually in the TX750 and nowhere else, is this PSU running short of stamina to held the SLI over 825Mhz, is kinda strange, since most reviews push this Gigabyte cards around 850Mhz, and the MSI around 950Mhz, (the same issue with both, beyond that, Heaven will stop and an alert message will pop-up and say the vga where disconnected,

Help please, any advice will be highly apreciated...

Did u add vgpu when overclocking gigabyte card? is it 825mhz max oc with max vgpu? i find my card can overclock with no added vgpu at 810/1000 beyond that clock must increase vgpu ... but myfriend has same card like mine can hit max oc at 900mhz, i guess he got gold chip :)
Wow running SLI with oc'ed hawk ... i cannot imagine their performance ^_^ must be really high :)

It was exciting, but to be honest, when playing there is no diference (unless Im playing metro at 1920*1080) but, the HAWK cards where sweet, Im changing the one i have right now for a Talon Attack (all other 3 GTX 460 where sold in a i dont want them anymore price) since I still feel there must be something better out there... To bad Im cant buy a 580 SLI setup, that will be S.I.C.K.

Yeap 580 is really monster Primus :) not mention its price ... if u want to SLI i suggest wait for GTX560 or GTX570 :) mmm my friend use single HAWK and overclocked to 950mhz when playing metro "with 1600x1050 res all setting are max" fps are nice 30.... or abit less than 30 sorry forgot ^^. Whats difference between Talon and hawk? i dont know Primus ... d u know?

Well, the military class parts are even better in the Talon Attac edition. Mainly the tipe of memory is a low latency type with a 3900Mhz 0.4ns modules. It comes overclocked from factory to 810Mhz, but being honest, we dont care about that do we? the main gain is the memmory, and Im not pretty sure if this Talon edition or the Gigabyte SOC (GTX 460) is the best option anyways... I love Benchmarks you may notice, since when playing, there is actually little to non diference between the models

Yup youre right many of my friend in CHIP indonesian forum said that "in gaming there is very little or non diference performance ..." but benchmarking is another thing, numbers are really counts different :) btw my friend just bought HAWK and TALON then he tested without added vgpu hawk can hit 880mhz gpu clock and talon can hit 850mhz gpu clock .... really nice card, i should upgrade to that ^^. Btw DA gtx470 price is really low now, mmm really tempting me.

P.S. this card is a charm, i sold one of them, but Im still able to play everithing at 1080, Im craving to see GTX 560 comming out... or to have the Gigabyte SOC but freaking amazon does not have it available... :(
