    picking up a Gforce 4 Copper Cooler tonight has 2 or 3 ram Memory Heat Sink aswell

    Anyone using this ?

    Hope im not wasting $28 AU :)

    from what i have read and/or heard, this is the best cooling fan/heatsink on the market for the geforce4. Besides water cooling.
    $28 dollars is a fair price for a good brand cooling equipment, it's thermaltake for pete sakes :D
    It has had some good reviews that i recall.

    I wanna know why ramsinks are so expensive. The tweakmonster ones are almost $30 and thats for four (this is at PCCG). They are just a chunk of funny shaped metal ffs.

    the tweak monster ram sinks are expensive for 2 reasons

    they're copper & they're machined from a block

    for alum ram sinks - someone usually just takes a length of extruded aluminum channel & saws off 1" lengths
