They've taken on a lot recently, the x-box, the nforce 2, the crush, and of course the GFFX, they may be
behind, but it's far from over.
Much is being made of the (dustbuster) fan fitted to the GFFX card, I believe they're using it to get every
last drop of performance out the chipset, in order to establish a lead over ATi's R300.
I'm certain that a quicker NV35 with a 256-bit memory bus will be ready within a few months of the R350,
and that the NV40 will be ready on time to take the R400 head on. ATi have established a good lead, but
they'll have to fight to keep it.

Q&A from Per Hansson's interview with Andrew Humber and Adam Foat of Nvidia Europe, held at last weeks
    Comdex Show.

[TS]: Lastly we would like to know if the benchmark-results from Maximum PC are real?
[Nv]: Yes; they are real, however they are based on a board and drivers which are far from final and thus
does not represent the performance of the final product.

Read interview [includes some nice photos]

    Imaginary FX (updated)

I've updated my imaginary 3DProphetFX card, added copper heatsinks and a background, hope you like it.

PEGGY, IN TAIWAN, TELLS ME that Nvidia anticipates it will ship around 100,000 GeForce FX boards worldwide
    between now and May.
That's the period it has arranged for a third party contractor to make the boards to keep the quality high, she said.

And she whispered marchitecture names that Nvidia has hit on – the Ultra 5400 for the NV31 and the Ultra 5600
for the NV34 are the favorites round about now.
