Thread: Videocard POST Problem

    I have a prob, got a Geforce 2 MX 400, posts fine when I first boot the system, or when I shut the system down and leave it for 30min or so, but if I try and reboot the system, the card wont post at all.

    Possible bios prob, or could it be somethin else

    The system runs just fine with a tnt2 m64 in it...

    It could be a lot of things causin' this from poor seating to lack of good power but it would be better if ya told us the rest of ya hardware setup and operating system. :?:

    and a side note, nothing is overclocked

    AMD DURON 700 mhz
    320MB of PC 133 Ram
    TNT2 M64/32 MB of Ram
    Connenxtant 56k modem
    Accton 10/100 Network Card
    LG 8/4/32 cd-rw
    creative labs drx2 dvd player
    C-Media 4 Channel Sound Card (not onboard)
    200W Power Supply
    Windows XP Pro

    Unless ya made a typo there then ya 200w PSU just could be ya prob as AMD still recommended a 300w PSU even for Durons to operate properly and the GF2 MX could be just the thing to push the PSU over as it requires more power than the TNT. ;)
