Thread: AGP Voltage

    The current voltage for my vid card is 1.5v, but I bumped it up a bit. I heard it's supposed to increase stability during overclocking. Any idea what a safe setting is for basic cooling? 3 case fans, 1 pulling air in, 2 taking it out (top and back) and the card as you can see in my sig is as follows. oh, I think the average system temp is like 32-35 celsius

    512mb PC2700 RAM
    40gb WD 7200rpm w/ 8mb cache

    1.6v should be enough but I'd only go to a 1.7-1.75v max*. ;)



    * Denotes that hardware should be of good quality and airflow

    And for the record and for newbies listening in - Increasing voltage (adding more juice) just allow better overclocking but pushes temps up quick, so watch out.
