Okay, let's assume all I want to do is upgrade to around a gig or so of ram..better cooling, and video.

With that in mind what would be a good nvidia based card for my system? Something my system can use to the fullest potential, and not waste 400 dollars on something that is too goddamn fast for my board to utilize..And, reasonably priced.. (200 or so dollars..) albeit quality product.

AMD Athlon XP 1800+ (@1.72ghz higher soon..)
    Gigabyte GA7VAXP (VIA KT400)
    256mb Samsung PC2700 DDR
GeForce 4 MX420 (too broke to replace it with a real card)

not sure how much they cost now, but you could run a gForce4 Ti4600 well...the Ti4200 are at good prices now and I've got ut2003 maxed out with it

Yes the Abit OTES GF4 Ti4200 is a real hotrod and is frequently found to be just as fast as the Ti4600's when asked. :devil win

Not to mention being under 200 and quite attractive for a card, and that I/E system..god. It's all mine.
