Not sure if this question is making sense...but do you know what I mean ? ie: Will I have problems getting the thing to work with my other hardware ?
I ran my 9700pro w/an Epox KT400 board before I got my nForce board - I had no problems whatsoever

....I was under the impression it was the SiS 8xAGP chipsets that had issues with the 9700 series

I really don't know if I'd get a "Powered by ATI" card...:?: :rolleyes2
But if not, I will get a "Built by ATI" card !
I find that ATI has really come around with their product quality and support !:thumb:

I have numerous ati cards and have never had any trouble with quality or support. I have always been able to find any drivers that I need for my card. Quality is not a problem with my card.

It does look pretty cool. Though The fan is a bit far away from the core, with the power line running over the top of the core. Hmmm...
Well, the way I think of it is, there is more heat conducting material over the core (the fins) and the fan then pushes air over and inbetween those fins, which to me would seem to be a more efficient heat removal (endothermic?) process. My :2cents: :)

I meant more that I think the fan is too far away. I think it's a great idea, since have the fan's center and thus the dead spot centered right over the core is kind-a counter productive. Just seems it could e a little better.

Maybe a bigger, thin fan over the whole area. Woot! :)
