I have an Nvidia GeForce 2 MX/MX 400 card and I have Coolbits. As far as I can get without any problems is under 230 and 193. When I set the core clock frequency to 230mhz and memory freq. to 193mhz and run 3DMark 2001se, I get lots of lines and blotches all over the picture. Can anyone help?
PS I just installed the latest drivers from Nvidia

the lines and blotches are just a result of ur overclocking the card a bit farther than it will run normally. You should just clock it back like 5 mHz and the problems should go away. :thumb:

Thanks, theyneverknew for your reply. What can I do to improve my cards preformance. I get very low scores (1985 3DMarks). I checked other peoples scores that have the same card and they were in the 40's and 50's. I am new at this and any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks! :?:

I agree that there is probably something wrong (I was getting 2500 with a Duron 750 and GF2MX400). It may not be just your video card that is causing the problem. How may other programs are running in the background? Might be worth running a program like pcpitstop's test to see if anything out of the ordinary shows up. Not sure what operating system you are using but it might be a good idea to look at the optimization guides on Tweaktown's home page.
