Well, I don't know what your old ASUS board is using, but I have installed a few different Epox Boards that support 'Keyboard Wake Up' and in each case, pushing ANY key on the keyboard boots the system. And the keyboards were nothing special, I assure you.

But who knows, ASUS may have had their own system to work with their own keyboard. who knows.

Yeah, I think my next mobo will be an ASUS again. I have NO problems with my Gigabyte mobo, but I like the keyboard wake up feature that the ASUS mobos have, and I've never had a problem with my old ASUS P2B mobo.

    Hope this isn't too big....
Look at the options I have (Pic taken from manual)...It says "Any Key", but underneath, it has "Disabled", not "Any Key" !!!
In the bios, it has "Password" / "Disabled" / "Keyboard 98".
I wish I had the "Any Key" option !

Well, the "Password" option works...but I can't use the "Sleep" button or the space bar, etc...I have to use a letter or a number (Not from the numpad).
