    I think i decided to go the P4 way, and i think i'll get the 800FSB 2,6gig. What mobo and memory i should get?

    Get a good i865 based mobo and 2 sticks of at least PC3200 rating (PC3500 even better).

    Abit, Albatron, ASUS, EPoX, Gigabyte and MSI all have i865 based mobo's so just pick one the suits your price range with the features that ya need and I always recommend Corsair XMS memory.

    I just got an asus p4c800 with the 2.6, 512 meg ddr3500. I have it overclocked right now to 3.12 completely stable. U can go with the asus p4p800 to save a bit of money and still have a quick board.

    asus p4p800 delux...good for money!! save the money on the 2.6 and just get the 2.4 ...u will never see the difference.....just get more ram...:thumb: imho
