ummm, not quite full specs - but the components are at least named in a general sense for the most part.

    1 question......
    CD Drive
    : US Drive [45.13]

Gimm'e a hint - who or what is "US Drive"?

You might want to consider getting a CD-RW, so you can save data, make backups and etc..

Don't make the mistake of thinking that data on the HDD is yours to keep.
Only after you have a minimum of 2 instances of all files do you stand a chance of really owning data.

Try and get a Ti4200 for a videocard instead cause it's mutch faster.

Also you don't need to spend that mutch on (6) fans, that P4 won't run hot at all if you settle for just 2.

And why a psu in that pricerange, you seem to have found yourself quite a expensive dealer since my new rig with that cpu, a Gb corsair and a 5900 Ultra is witin that pricerange. And my card is about $500 while the 5200 is 82..

Dude, I agree. save some cash, buy online. Also, that's a really expensive PSU, you might wanna get a cheaper one. Def get a CD-RW or a combo drive, as they're priceless for making back ups. Also, get a MSI Neo2 mobo, it's just as fast and its only $106usd. With the extra cash, get a nVidia GeForce 4 Ti4200 for a video card, awesome card, and they can overclock very well (at least my MSI can :thumb: ), the 5200 really sucks, no offense :p . Def save some cash, at most buy 4 fans (and those are some really expensive fans...). Also, what kind of hard drives are those and what kind of RAM is that? Both RAM and HDD's have performance that really is based on who made them. Do all of that tho, and you should have a seriously nice system w/o paying you life's savings for it. : peace2: Mista K6

    All good advice here.

My suggestion would be to read some of the peoples signatures, so you can see what they are running. Most of the people here have a pretty good idea of what a good setup is. So it will give you an idea of what to go with.
Also you can save a bundle and have a lot more fun with an AMD processor and an Nforce 2 board such as the Asus A7N8X Deluxe with raid for your 2 120gb harddrives (preferrably Western Digital WD120JB with 8mg cache.

With all your savings by picking the right products you could pick up a nice 17" flat screen LCD such as the Cornea MP704 for $409US.

    Just a thought.

Check around for pricing. A good place to start is NEWEGG.com though.

    Good luck,

J/w, why do people choose flat screen monitors when they are so much? I have a Dell 19" CRT and it has a crystal clear image (.26?). I think it was about $140? Is there something about flat screen monitors I'm missing besides space saving? Again, j/w, : peace2: Mista K6

Personally I wouldn't use a CRT is someone gave me on 21in.
Flat screens are just as nice a picture if not better. 1/10 the size. Look 10x better.
Also, the way I build my systems is very aestetic. So it just matches the theme of building a nice looking system, that looks clean, and kicks butt performance wise.

If I was on a budget, or didn't have much cash, sure I would use one. Although that obviously isn't the case. As I have 4 systems, all wireless, 1 19" FS, 1 17" FS, and another 17" Flatscreen on the way for another system I am building.
They just look so much better, and performance is the same if not better.

    Chez,

PS Not to mention they are 10x better for the environment. Without the 10lbs of lead inside.
