you didn't wake me. it's not my fault. It's also up to me to delegate responsibility to others. not my fault if you didn't know what your tasks were. you should have asked.

As for spelling, my wife has a couple of degrees and if you asked her to spell "tomorrow" her best bet would be to scribble "the next day".

Fact is, I went to school with some kids that got straight A's but couldn't spell worth a lick.
Me on the otherhand, I got some spelling skills - It's often not even necessary that I understand what the word means.

If the king is going to have to drag himself out of bed every time some alleged crisis comes along --- what is the point of him having Jedi:?:

I mean, if you guys can't deal with telemarketers, catfights, keeping the canary quiet and a stray post now and then, I'm thinking you might be a bit overrated.

    Be advised;
I been around here for a wee bit now and try as I might, I cannot recall a single instance where the "King" was accused of mental stability.

A moment of clarity on rare occasion perhaps, yes.

In light of that, why would this exclude him from soveriegn leadership all of a sudden:shrug:

even if your spelling sucks, there is no reason why someone can't run a post or a few words though some form of spell checking . All most all computers have word processors on them; it only takes a moment to copy a post into a blank document and run a spelling check on it if you're unsure of some spelling. Hell, even Google will work in a pinch.

Personally, anytime I have a post more than a few lines long I'll run it though OpenOffice Writer just to be sure. You can make a lot of mistakes just typing too fast ...but there is no reason not to go back and fix them.

I'm smelling a promotion for Mr C. At least he's not trying to oust me from me position.

Treasonous little jedi. You've gone over to the dark side, haven't you?

Accuracy in spelling is a good thing and I would not try to detract from it's importance.

It seems to me this place got a bit fancy-schmancy lately:?:
Or would nit-picky be more appropriate? There have been a lot of valuable contributions to this forum that had some rather ugly spelling in the past.

It would be nice to not have to decipher some of the posts I've read, true. Why are we making a big issue of spelling all of a sudden though.

Your Highness, if I recall my history correctly, wasn't the Jedi the group that let the Empire slip through thier fingers and take over most of the galaxy:?:

Maybe you got the order a bit overly tasked?

IMO spelling has got little to do with it... altough this guy did take sloppy posts and bad spelling to an extreme

I think it was more the quantity of crap, BS, and miss-information in his posts that led to his current title

but honestly, if someone going to start throwing mud around, they could at least get the spelling right ...it's hard to take it seriously otherwise
