    hi, i have a new system i am building , is 3/4 done, and now ineed to buy a PSU. i dont know if 350w is enought for this setup. can anyone tell me if i should need more? or i am just find with 350 w? o, and i Overclock.

    asus a8n7x deluxe
    athlon 2500+
    volcano 7+ cpu cooler
    4xevercool case fans
    Seagate SATA 80gb HD, 8mb chache
    leadtek fx5600 128mb my vivo v-card
    d-link PCI wireless card
    16x dvd rom
    2x cold caholde
    My new gaming rig..

    2x256mb pc 3200 ddr 400.(with cooling)
    athlon Xp 2500+ ( at 200x10=2000mhz .)

    Well , Im using a 350W, and ive had no problems, but, its a quality PSU, if its a high quality one, itll be fine, if its low quality...your screwed.

    haha,good advice, i am getting a enermax PSU, but i dont like the server adapters taht they come with, kinda useless for me, and since servers need mroe power tan 350w, anyways, wilil powmax 400w psu be a good quailty PSU? cause tehy ar both the same price

    Hmmm, Ive never heard of PowMax, but I know Enermax makes a quality PSU. DO you have a link for the PowMax?

    heres the one i am interested in, is 400w and has duel fans, no pro reviews, but onwers of this power supply say is stable

    also, powmax sponsors some LAn parties in the US>

    lol, just went to liook at newegg for prce, then saw review there, heres what i guy said about the powmax.


    "The pomax PSU is cheap, but be warned.
    I tested out my gaming system and checked the rails. I was really shocked to see the voltages.

    3.3= 3.12
    5v-= 4.58
    12v= 11.45

    I won't overclock my system until i get a new psu"

    A Ritmo 400W isn't a bad PSU unit, plus it has the seperate 4piont CPU power supply, as used on Pentiums and as I found out after I bought it, an MSI 6330 K7T Turbo2, with a VIA 133a chipset also required it and it delivers above the 10 amps required for the AMD XP2400+ CPU, on that particular MOBO, with other System and Case fans all hooked up and running ..... :thumb:
    Great thing about flying a desktop, is that CASA ( Civil Aviation Safety Authority ) can't touch ya no matter how many times you crash and burn !!!!!! HIC HIC
