Any special reason why this device wouldn't work propely under Win XP..:?: It should not need any driver right? It's a noname product but It's cheap and reads all the sticks mentioned below.

CompactFlash® I & II, IBM Microdrive, SmartMedia™, Memory Stick™, MultiMediaCard, Secure Digital Card

(Memory Stick is what I use)

There are alot of variations of that product on ebay... Like 7 or so.. Make sure the one you are getting is USB 2.0 compatable. Some aren't... Some have a USB connection right there accessable from the front. Some aren't USB at all, but IDE. Some aren't powered, some you plug in with a floppy power connection. Some can be used as external units.

I do not own one, but if I were to buy one I'd get one not designed to be internal (so I could use it with my lappy on vacation as well) And it would be the one that PNY makes that is USB 2.0

It costs 30 bucks new (at rip off stores like office max), and i've seen them on ebay for 15$ new shipped.

But here is the search I use....
