Well it is authentic Built By ATI with the gargoyle on the front and all, but the clocks were 325/580 (290) so i'm looking into what kind of memory is used. So far I believe its Infineon 3.0, which sucks bad but I guess you get what you pay for.

I went there and looked at it, then made some inquiries at my various sources.

Most of the NPs come with either Etrontech 2.8 or Infineon 3.0 memory, both of which suck compared to the Samsung. However, I have found the Hercules 9800NP comes with Samsung but its more expensive, around $300-310 according to Pricewatch. For that price, you may as well get the Powercolor 9800 Pro for $319 and have the real deal.

$300 for a NP? Of course that is Hercules though...their stuff is always more expensive. I would just get the Sapphire 9800 Pro OEM from NewEgg for $305.
