    Hi Guyz

    I've got 512 samsung PC2700
    i was thinkning of getter another 512, PC2700 as well ofcourse

    but for another $100 i can get me a AMD 2700 CPU
    ohh yeh i'm from australia by the way, incase ppl wanted to check prices

    so which would u guyz choose?

    That depends, you didn't say what CPU you have now, and in what board.

    wat is ur other specs? if ur video card is like a mx400, i would save more for a 9600pro, or a 5600ultra. But, if ur vide cad is good, sell the 512 pc2700 so u can get some more cash to get the faster ram like the pc3500 ram. BUT, i would just save the money for other use.

    pc3500? can my Mobo handel that?
    i thought the max for my mobo was pc3200

    You can use higher than ya mobo is rated. PC3500 will be fine

    Just say u had to pick 4 performence which 1 would u go 4 the CPU or the extra RAM??

    i would go with ram just because 1gb will do u great in future games, + software. ur 2400+ is already good enough if u oc to 2.0ghz which i think it will be a bress with good cooling.

    yeh thanks 4 that!
    wat does the 2400+ CPU usually run at cause mines been on 2.01GHz from the start.

    It seems to be running fine no problems for like 5months since i got it.
    I just want to know if dats ok or is it too late for my CPU?Like on screen it says its at 2400+ but is really running at 1800+?

    Quite frankly I would go past PC3200 with that mobo as the KT400 chipset does not like 200MHz FSB's but check my reply here in ya other thread.
