Do you mean the Radeon 9800XT? Well if you can find a system for that price with those specs, then I would get the first. I'm guessing the first is an OEM system? But, if your planning to overclock, than you should go with the first, with a 9600 XT of course.

Because it gives very few specs, and doesnt come with a monitor. Saw the Medion name in there, and I know that they are about 50/50 when it comes to manufacturing anyway

Though my last few boxes have been AMD and I'm perfectly happy with them, the 2nd box might be a better deal if they will upgrade it to XP Pro (which you need for Hyper-threading to work). The vid card should be just fine for games, very good, in fact. The hd is larger and will perform very close to the Maxtor SATA. The mb will support faster cpus if you want to upgrade later. Monotors are fairly inexpensive right now and you can pick the one you want. If you already have a monitor, then I think the 2nd one is a no-brainer if they will upgrade the os.

First, you should have your country in your profile. Why not build a machine yourself? It's real easy. And about that r9600xt, that is good advice. The fx5600 (non pro) is a weak card nomatter how much mem it has. A ti4200 64mb is way, way better in general(example). Beware of generic or brands of pc's like compaq, hp, ibm, gateway, dell, you get the picture.
