'bout the only good use I've seen for a wireless keyboard is with a HTPC, but as with the mouse it all depends on your needs

At home I've got 4 mice. Here's my order of preference:

    - Wired MS Intellimouse Explorer (original, not version 3)
    - Wireless MS Intellimouse Explorer
    - Wireless MS Intellimouse Optical
    - Wireless Logitech MX-700

The only reason that the Logitech is at the bottom of the list is because it is not comfortable in my big hand, and the way I grip a mouse. I think it's years of using Explorer mice that have made me that way. Aside from the comfort factor, I would have prefered to use the Logitech mouse, as it's an exception mouse.

That's the main reason people can't really tell you what mouse is best. It all comes down to what you are most comfortable with. Everyone has different sized and shaped hands, so you should go and find out what suits you.

My Microsoft Optical Trackball (wired) is my favorite mouse of all time.
I have been in love with trackballs for a long time, but this model has been out for a few years now, and I love it. I had a horrible experience with wireless once when I bought the wireless logitech. I have alot of wireless crap already (Infrared/Scanners/CB/Radio/Wireless Audio) and I think it messed with it, always kept loosing the signal. Plus replacing the batteries was a pain. I use the ****ty keyboard they sell at my local Wal-Mart for 7 bucks because I go through 1 keyboard every 2-3 months. Whatever works though. Carpeltunel is a *****.
