    I'll keep it simple.
My old mobo is dead and i need a new 1.

To dress up my new mobo i have.

    - AMD Athlon XP 2400+
    - 2x256 Samsung PC2700 (thinking of changing it to Kingston PC3200)
    - ATi Radeon 9800Pro
    - Aero 7+
    - WD 80gig (8mg Buffer)

I have a price range of $150-$180 aust dollar.
I was wonder if ne 1 can suggest some mobos.

    THANKS

something with the nforce2 chipset. there are a number of good brands to choose from, such as ASUS (A7N8X Deluxe = personal favorite), Epox, Abit,... However many of the mobos vary in features, so your needs and how much you can afford will make the biggest difference.
I've gone too far and need to move on!

i also have the A7N8X Deluxe and it is very good. it has a lot of features, which you might not have need for (eg: dual ethernet and soundstorm).

take a look at the Abit NF7-S 2.0, as well as the Epox 8RDA3+ as they are both of high quality, as well as having extra features.

these 3 boards all do well at overclocking too i might add :)

If ya live in Sydney then take a trip to Nth. Rocks PC markets (in Westfield Shopping Centre, Nth. Rocks Rd every Sunday) as ya'll find the ASUS and EPoX versions well within ya price range and PC3200 is at good prices as well.
