I am building a new comp. Itz completly empty. I am think of getting the MSI Neo-LSIR (I think) With the Athlon64.

I was wondering which graphics card would be best??

n0z4rides321: At this moment in time ATI has the edge on Nvidia, so I would suggest that you consider purchasing one of their boards. What applications/games do you want to run, and how much do you want to spend?

Well Mostly games. Whatever gets thrown at me I want to run as smooth as possible.

And this is my first comp so I want it to be the best. (Reason for buying expensive AMD64.) Most likely whatever the hardware costs I will save up for.

So I guess it won't matter as long as it isnt obscene...like $600 or something.

You can go with the 9800xt, because its no obscene :D it cost around 500. EhEH, well the 9800pro is a nice card, so is the 9800 aiw. So you can go with one of those.

ATI's Radeon 9800 XT is probably the best choice for you then.

Since price doesn't seem to be a real issue to you, then go for the gusto and grab a 9800XT. They are real performers!

Oh, and something else to consider is the fact that ATI has far better 2d output than nVidia does. While working-type applications may not be vital to you, it will even make the icons on your desktop appear crisper and clearer to the eye.

    Nice..

Wow I was looking at the different models and I didnt know that they but fans on these things now.

Do you know of a good online U.S. retailer to buy these from. When I look it only shows the ATi model and not the other versions. Thanks :afro:
