Hey I just bought two re-branded internal optical drives.

How do I tell what company original made them?

    A 48x24x48 Kypermedia CD-RW.
2 MB buffer. Avg. access time 100ms
$48.99 USD before mail in rebates and $10 after.

    Also a MagicSpin DVD+/-RW
    DVD+R 8x, DVD-R 4x, CD-R 40x
    DVD+RW 4, DVD-RW 2x, CD-RW 24x
    Read, CD 40x, DVD 12x

Access times CD 120ms and DVD 140ms

It's $129.99 USD before mail in rebates and $79.99 after MiR.

    I can still return them.
It's takes between 6 to 8 weeks to receive the rebate check, so good deal? Not so good?

And how can I tell what company made them?

    Thanks
If the stuff in glow sticks is truly toxic then why do they make so many flavors?
