    since its my bday monday, im gonnna treat myself to some new ram, i have old crappy 256 pc2100 dell ram, so i want a good 512mb stick with pc3200 for good price....

    if you're not looking for anything special (ie, super-fast or twinned dual-channel), I'd recommend some Samsung/Infineon ram... good price (only a few $ more than generic crap usually), fairly speedy, and never had one die on me in the few dozen systems I've used it in
    386 DX40, 4mb 80ns EDO RAM, .5mb Trident VGA, 120mb 2200rpm JTS HDD, SoundBlaster ISA, Zoltrix 2400bps modem, 2x Creative CDROM (tray loading), Panasonic 3.5" FDD/5.25" FDD, Samsung 14" UVGA Monitor

    i prefer Crucial myself. It's not the absoulte best for overclocking, but it holds it's own and it's reliable (which is more important than how well it OCs imo)

    I prefer kingston, corsair, and mushkin. I heard good things about crucial but never used it...so no clue there.

    ok then, so whats all of these timing numbers like #-#-#-#...is that the speed or what....cause i dont want to buy **** 3200 ram, or is there better 2700 ram....
