my friend has a 9200 and runs call of duty flawlessly
Oh please. What in 480x640 with a p4 3.2 ghz? The problem with these low end cards nowadays is all these castrated versions like se for ati and xt for nvidia. People buy them completely ignoring the se in the name and the bad 64bit versions thinking it is the same or at least similar to it's counterpart. When in fact, these widespread bad versions perform right down there with gf2, r7xxx and kryo2, they are just horrable. Often tricking people into downgrading(sometimes drastically). Another anoying thing is thinking more gfx memory always=faster, this is just not true.

To answer edrst's question, I am also with soulburner, in your pricerange the ti4x00 series or a r9600pro(with the good memory) would be your best choice.

The attached chart will help show you this. Marked in orange is best case scenario of where your current card stacks up. Red is the blacklist cards. Marked in green are their normal counterparts. Being a system builder, the r9000pro is what I exclusively use for budget cards due to their low cost (cheaper than all 11 marked cards), active cooling and relatively high performance with little variation in different brands(marked in purple).

One still has to be real careful, there are also the 64bit versions that don't have indications of crappyness in the name.

I may just consider the 9000 for an upgrade.

    About ~$70 USD

EDIT: Oops didn't pay attention, fixxed my post now.
If the stuff in glow sticks is truly toxic then why do they make so many flavors?
