Pretty much summed up in the subject I have £75($140) to spend on updating graphics from GeForce4 MX 440 to some think more respectable, so any ideas welcome!

I was thinking along the lines of 9200 or 9600?

Iím not looking for the most overclockable just good stock performace.

    Cheers:cheers:

Don't even consider the 9200, it will be the same as what you have now.

Your two options would be Ti4200/4400 or R9600 Pro.

    FX5900 - 3DMark2001 [20,566] - 3DMark2003 [7,281] - Aquamark3 [56,694]
    Ti4400 - 3DMark2001 [16,028]

I agree with Soulburner, but would go for the 9600pro myself

Check his setting against yours - you will most likely find his video drivers setup for speed not quality

Yo, in defence of the 9200,

ive had 1 4 a while, an i havent found a single fault with it, gigabyte 9200 , 128 meg ram.

Very pleased wiv it an no its set 2 normal in the ati display an it runs call of duty, an any thin else i throw @ it without a hitch.

    AT MAX GRAPHICS.

my system aint that great either, 2000xp, 384 meg of ram an 160 gig of space.

I'd say it's a little bang for a little buck, but that's just my :2cents:
