Thanks everyone!:thumb: I don't see why people talking about video anymore though... :?: I'm spending $200 for a 9700 pro, not a vad deal. $530 it still a lot, but I'll go with it unless someone happens to come across cheaper hardware. Looks good to me. :) (don't worry obout the OS, I can handle it)

Just for reference, the total and all of the items:
    $528.91 + S&H
    Radeon 9700 Pro
    IDE Cables
    Case Fan
    Arctic Silver 5
Thermaltake Volcano 9 Smart + Silent CPU Fan (gone, I think)
    nForce 2 Motherboard
    Case
    Dual Channel 2 x 256 PC3200 RAM
    AMD Athlon XP 2500+ 1.83GHz 333FSB 512KB L2 Cache

The volcano 9 seems to be gone, and Ebay doens't let you register until you're 18. My parents would probably prefer not to.
    Anything wrong with this?

All copper, very nice :thumb:. The worst thing that will happen is that the fan doesnt push enough air, so you might have to get a new one, no worries there tho, test it out first. : peace2: Mista K6

Case just went out of stock. I'll look for another, but I better buy that 9700Pro before it goes out of stock. It also looks like it cost $5 less ( ). Maybe my parents won't mind lending me money to get it. It wouuld suck to lose that.

Yeah, ignore the case I suggested I thought it was different. There was a review that said it had all these features, which it DOESN'T have. That review has disappeared.

Same case but it's in stock. Unless I'm missing something I'll get that if the othe ris out of stock when I get my money. Is this Radeon 9800 Pro for $22 more worth it? I might be able to get that much, and since the video card will be the most expensive thing to upgrade in the future...
But if it's not that much better I'll just forget it.

Yah, for $22, the 9800Pro is alot better, 55MHz more on the core, 60MHz more on the RAM, and you can OC it even higher. Also, its a sapphire, which is a very good brand. : peace2: Mista K6
