So I'm looking to replace my old DVR103 which no longer works with another Pioneer drive. I was looking on newegg and found the DVR107 and DVR107D, but I don't know what the real difference (besides $17) is. I have a black case which leads me toward the 107, but I've had buffer underruns which leads me toward the 107D. Or does the 107 have buffer underrun preventions as well, and forget to mention it?
    ANy suggestions

Hey guys can you post links to what you're talking about.

I think Pioneer only has one drive with the 107 number. The difference in listing is probably someone being to lazy to type out the same info twice. It's probably just the same drive one with a black face plate.

The difference is color. The price difference is due to supply + demand.

But they have different features, is newegg just wrong in that?
    I'll take a look at lite-on gear.

Sometimes the specs just get typed in differently at Newegg... if you really want to know just go to pioneer's website
