I am going to build a new system. I need a good motherboard that will be good for gaming. The heart of the system is going to be a AMD athlon 3200 400 FSB. The motherboard needs to have 8x AGP and a full size ATX. I would like to hear any recommendations you all have. Also does anyone have an opinions on the PC Chips brand of motherboard? Thanks for any input.

PCChips? EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKKK!! Oh my god, don't go with that crap. PC Chips is like the Yugo of motherboards. It'll work, sure, but don't expect much else. On the same level avoid Matsonic and ECS...they're different labels of the PC Chips brand, so the quality is the same.

I'd recommend the Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe. Solid motherboard and it has all the features you want.

also: NF7-S from Abit, and the Epox 8RDA3+ are good too.

Yes I totally agree with staying well away from SiS 748 chipset (any SiS chipset from my experiences and ALi as well) and the KT600 would only be for those on a very tight budget.
