    Hey.

I'm building a system for a friend atm, and I'm buying from www.Centrecom.com.au - I'm looking at using an Asus A7N8X-X mobo for an AMD 2600XP 333fsb. Its a simple budget rig, so it dont need SATA or RAID etc. Which is why this board is ideal.

Yet, they're a bit fuzzy in the details of the board, and I'm a little hesitent to buy it when I dont know too much about it. Cant find too many reliable reviews, and the only info site is the Asus HQ - http://www.asus.com/products/mb/sock...x/overview.htm

Has anyone used, or heard of any problems with this Mobo?

I cant comment on the ASUS but I used a gigabyte 7N400-L and its about the same price and went together easily and has plenty of reveiws out there.
    Hope that helps

The ASUS A7N8X-X is based on the nForce2 400 chipset so you won't have the dual channel memory controller that the nForce2 400 Ultra chipset has but they're a good mainboard anyway.
