Did you look at the customization options? 3.8 ghz processor? 2 Terabyte Hard drives? 4GB of Dual Channel DDR 533 MHZ? Extended RAM Module 12GB? It's all ridicules, yes, almost every part is like two, three, sometimes four times the market prices, but, the only thing they have updated, that I can tell, is the hard drive selection in over a year.

Plus, they say that they go in themselves and "optimize" every little thing (which, for some odd reason, I find is a joke). For the most part, It's just entertaining putting together the computer from there on a spreed sheet then seeing how much cheaper it would be for me to build it.

When I saw the 3.8GHz processor I figured that optimization was just overclocking.

I'd reather go with an FX-55 then that though.

I would rather go with the FX-55 also. And aren't they working ona new FX-57. I think I read it on anendtech when they were doing oner of there pricing guides. I know its not going to eb otu for a whiel but it would be pretty cool.

    I'd rather have a 3800 or FX-53, even, but interesting. I didn't think the 3.8 was out.

Edit: I don't know whether or not AMD will make an FX-57 but they were still finshing the FX-55 (at the very least most online retailers don't have it yet).

Again, I love anandtech and google (didn't remember which review it was) look in the paragraph after the chart:

    http://www.anandtech.com/cpuchipsets...oc.html?i=2056

"...we can expect to see Athlon FX-57 in Q2'05..."

I also saw a socket 939 Athlon 64 3300+ coming out sometime (for the cheap *******s like me ). The link to one of my most favorite charts:

    http://www.c627627.com/AMD/Athlon64/

Hope you all find that good stuff.

That's quite excellent, thanks for the link. The 3300 will be quite nice as it provides an enrty-level CPU for socket 939 that isn't so expensive. I also find it interesting that the socket 939 Sempron won't feature dual-channel support.
