Well you dont realy need the 5.1 speakers, they are expencive, but you may need a larger PSU, expecialy with that video card, also that hard drive could be notched down, but they dont cost much so the price savings will be small.
Other than that it looks pretty good..

Why didn't you just post this in the other topic? You already made 3 topics on basically the same thing. And I told you to choose based on your needs. Don't simply pick everything off the list in your price range. If you don't need 5.1 speakers find soem cheape 2.0 speakers. IF you need a larger hard drive then pick a larger hard drive etc.

Once you have picked out the parts you want post them in your old thread for us to look over.

When I read that, it was one of the first Anandtech articles I thought was bull****. It looks like they went to Newegg and started picking out random pieces of hardware that would work together... And I don't know what country they're living in (actually, I do), but $1500 U.S. with no OS isn't mid-range where I come from.

Don't try to run that system on that power supply, because it probably won't be pretty. If it runs, I really doubt it'll be stable.

You don't need 5.1 speakers, a DL DVD burner, a mouse and keyboard worth $41 and the monitor can get a little cheaper without hurting it's capabilities. I'm not sayig those are bad choices, but if you want to save money, you can get cheaper stuff. You also probably don't need a 160GB drive, but get one if you do.

I'd also suggest to wait for PCI-E for people on budgets like that, though I'm starting to get angry at Newegg's lack of PCI-E AMD motherboards...
