    Id also second the change in RAM brands... although Corsair is some top quality RAM, it seems to run better on nForce based boards than intel ones, so for intel chipsets, i like Kingston RAM, however ive heard both Patriot and G skill run really well.

    also, what brand is that HD 4850 you wanna stick in? if you havent decided yet, let me recommend HIS, PowerColor or Saphire... i went with a couple HIS cards because of the memory performance (ive got mine perfectly stable at 1065 with stock voltages where other seem to fail at anything over 1050), and i like the Saphire card because ive heard the core overclocks really well without having to do any hardmods.

    as for the DVD drive... Asus 20x SATA DL burner with LightScribe for $29... im sure you could get one even cheaper now

    with the dvd drive, that will run both dvds and like cds? sry if this is a dumb question. Like say i have a game i wana install that drive will read the disks.. like that as well as DVDS right?

    All DVD drives are compatible with CD format.

    yeah just about any modern DVD drive is backwards compatible, so you really shouldnt have to spend more than $35 for a decent one.

    I pick up Asus DVD drives with lightscribe for $29 at newegg all the time, they work great!
